Introduction
The seventh issue of The Oxford and Cambridge Magazine includes two pieces about the Crimean war, an essay by Robert Campbell and a poem by Fulford. Fulford also has an essay on Shakespeare in this issue, and Morris has a poem and a story. As early as the summer of 1855 Cormell Price was planning a review of Elizabeth Gaskell (see Kelvin 13), and his essay on her novels finally appeared in July.
