Introduction
This drawing is one of several studies for the watercolour, Sweet Tooth, c. 1862-1864. The sitter, Agnes Manetti, appears in the finished work, as well as in a preliminary study for the head of the figure. Fanny Cornforth is shown in two other studies for the same picture, one of which is very similar to this one.
