This present location of this watercolour is not known. DGR apparently painted it for Ruskin in 1855-1856. In the fall of 1874 there was an auction sale of pictures owned by a Miss Bell, a friend of Ruskin to whom he had made a present of this watercolour. The picture was apparently “bought by Mr. Leyland, acting through Howell” (see

).
