Introduction
This charming and intimate scene shows another important facet of DGR's relationship with Elizabeth Siddal — that of fellow artists. Well-known as Rossetti's muse, model, mistress and wife, Siddal has only recently been recognized for her own artistic skills (Treuherz, Prettejohn, and Becker, DGR, 154). In this quick sketch, Siddal is shown at work on a drawing of Rossetti in the studio at 14 Chatham Place, Blackfriars.
