This is the copy of Valeriani's edition that was owned by DGR's father Gabriele, who passed it on to DGR, whence it descended to WMR after DGR's death. The copy was sold in 1973 by Bertram Rota and purchased by Nicholas Barker. The copy is notable for carrying the annotations and marginalia of both Gabriele Rossetti and DGR, as well as later notes by WMR. Nearly all of the interesting marginalia are in Volume 2 , where the additional manuscript materials are extensive.
