Ballads and Sonnets (1881), proof Signature U (Delaware Museum, first author's proof)

This is a corrected copy of the first author's proof for Signature U. DGR would make further corrections in later revises. The marginal query on page 297 referencing the printer's copy would be dealt with in later proofs.

Besides this first author's proof, the Delaware proofs include the following: an author's first revise, with corrections; and three uncorrected and undated copies of the final revise, copy 1, copy 2, and copy 3. The British Library proofs have a copy of the first revise proofs for this signature (dated 10 May).
