Ballads and Sonnets (1881), proof Signature O (Delaware Museum, complete first revise, author's corrected copy)

This is an author's corrected copy of the first revise for Signature O (dated 6 May and numbered 2) in the Delaware Art Museum library. The library also has two uncorrected copies, one dated as this author's proof, the other undated.

Besides this corrected first revise proof copy, the Delaware Art Museum library has the following proof copies of Signature O: the author's first proof (corrected, dated 3 May 1881 and numbered 1); three copies of the first revise, this proof and two uncorrected copies, copy 1 and copy 2 ; the author's corrected copy and an uncorrected copy (undated and numbered 3b) of the second revise; and four copies of the third revise, including a complete corrected author's copy , an incomplete corrected author's copy , plus two uncorrected copies, uncorrected copy 1 and uncorrected (partial) copy 2, none dated; and an uncorrected and undated copy of the final proof (numbered 5). The British Library proofs have another copy of revise proofs for this signature (dated 3 May).
