Ballads and Sonnets (1881), proof Signature G (Delaware Museum, complete second revise proof)

This is a complete copy (dated 22 Apr 81 and numbered 4) of the second revise proof of Signature G. It carries all but one of the corrections (line 265, page 94) DGR called for in his first author's proofs, as one sees from the British Library's set of the first author's proofs for this signature.

In addition to this complete second revise proof and its duplicate (also dated 22 April 1881 and numbered 4), the library of the Delaware Museum of Art contains the following proof materials for Signature G of DGR's Ballads and Sonnets volume: a fragmentary two pages of first author's proofs; an incomplete and a complete copy of the first revise (both undated and both numbered 2); a complete copy of the final proof (dated 17 May and numbered 5) and a duplicate of that as well. The British Library proofs have a copy of the first author's proofs for this signature (dated Apr 81 and numbered 1).
