Introduction
This is an incomplete set of what appears to be first revise proofs for Signature F. The proofs are not date stamped or numbered. The complete set of proofs for the signature in the British Library set of proofs shows that the missing initial pages here (pages 65-66) underwent a revision that shifted the type on pages 65-67 (removing all the text of the Beryl Song from page 65). The corrections that DGR calls for here on pages 79-80 are incorporated into the British Library proofs.
Textual History: Revision
The library of the Delaware Art Museum has three complete sets of proofs for this signature: a copy of the first author's proof (dated Apr. 81, numbered 1), a copy of the second revise (dated 14 Apr 81 and numbered 4), and a copy of the last revise (dated 22 Apr 81 and numbered 5). The museum also has an incomplete copy of the second revise (dated 14 Apr 81 and numbered 3), an incomplete copy of the third revise (undated, unnumbered), as well as a loose proof leaf for pages 79-80 that shows DGR calling for a revision on page 80 that he failed to include in the first author's proof. The British Library proofs include a complete undated copy of the first revise (numbered 2).
