Textual History: Revision
The library of the Delaware Art Museum has four sets of complete proofs for this signature, each numbered and date stamped by the printer Charles Whittingham, of Chiswick Press. In addition to these proofs there are: the first author's proofs and a duplicate of them, both with author's MS corrections (each numbered 1; perfect, dated 6 April); and the third printer's revise (numbered 4; perfect, dated 22 April). The Delaware library also has a fragment (pages 23-26) of what must have been a copy of the second revise. The British Library also has a set of the first printer's revise (numbered 2; perfect, dated 13 April).
