Poems. A New Edition (1881), proof Signature S (Delaware Museum, author's first revise proof)

This is DGR's corrected copy of the first revise proof of Signature S of the 1881 Poems . It calls for a final shift of the order of the sonnets (see pages 268-270) and makes a last textual correction on page 267.

Five copies of this proof signature are preserved in the library of the Delaware Art Museum. They include the corrected author's first proof, an uncorrected duplicate, this corrected author's first revise, an uncorrected duplicate, and an uncorrected final proof.
