Poems. A New Edition (1881), proof Signature C (Delaware Museum, revise proof, author's copy)

This is a the author's copy of the revise proof made from the first proof. It carries DGR's ink corrections on pages 19, 21, 26, and 28. At least four proof copies of this signature must have existed; only three survive.

The three copies of this proof signature are preserved in the library of the Delaware Art Museum. They include this copy of the author's's revise proof , the printer's corrected copy of the revise, and an uncorrected copy of the first proof.
